About Us

Motion Technologies Company was incorporated in 1996, in Ohio, as a distributor and system integrator of stepper and servo motor based robotic positioning systems and controls. Our original warehouse and control panel assembly facility is still located approximately one mile west of the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio. Our earliest customers included The Edison Welding Institute, Battelle, The Ohio State University, The Honda Group, Automation Tooling Systems, Rimrock, The J.E. Grote Company, Belcan Engineering, G.E. Lighting and G.M. Delphi Automotive.

During calendar year 2004 alone, we shipped over a thousand axis of servo systems to several hundred different customers. Our focus on motion controllers and servos, along with the sheer volume of applications we solve, provides us with invaluable experience when it comes to solving tough applications.

We are experts at programming DSP based motion controllers manufactured by companies such as Compumotor, Acroloop, Galil, Delta-Tau and Baldor Optimized control.
