Fenner Industrial Motion provides polyurethane belts, keyless locking devices, and low-friction guides for power transmission, motion transfer, and conveying applications. Founded in 1861, Fenner’s global headquarters is currently based out of Pennsylvania, but operates across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Fenner was founded to produce conveyor and power transmission belts before expanding into keyless bushing and keyless locking devices, power transmission components, wire cloth, self-lubricating liners/fenlon, fabri cote, reinforced and unreinforced sheeting, silicone and organic hoses, thermoplastic ducting, and pipe rehabilitation products. It was purchased by Michelin Group in 2018. Their family of brands include Fenner Drives, B-LOC, Trantorque, Powertwist, Eagle, Trackstar, MAV, NuTLink, and SuperTLink.

The B-LOC line of keyless locking devices includes external shrink discs, compression hubs and rigid couplings for shafts ranging from 5 mm to more than 1 meter. The B-LOC keyless bushings provide a high capacity, zero-backlash shaft-to-hub connection and can accommodate a high torque, thrust, bending, and/or radial loads. An axial force is applied by series of annular screws to engage circular steel rings and mating tapers. The resulting wedge action creates a radial force on the tapered rings, one of which contracts to squeeze the shaft while the other expands and presses into the component bore. They’re utilized across industries such as distribution centers, food processing plants, oil and gas production, packaging operations and more.

Trantorque is a single-nut, keyless locking device designed to connect a hub to a motor-driven shaft. It can handle torsional, axial, and bending loads, speeds of 15,000 RPM and even higher with engineering approval, temperatures up to 400°F, and an endless array of stops and starts, installs and removals. They’re utilized in a variety of applications with gears, cams, timing belt sprockets, conveyor rolls, and grinding wheels; and in industries such as manufacturing and materials processing, HVAC, food and beverage, and electronics.

Fenner Drives provides tensioners, pulleys, idlers, and bearings for power transmission, motion transfer, and conveying applications. The drives, pulleys, and tensioners are used in a variety of power transmission applications such as conveyors, packaging equipment, lawn and garden equipment, HVAC units, fitness equipment, floor cleaning machine. They provide application-specific, customized thrust washers, ball thrust containers, needle thrust retainers, and mounted bearings.

Powertwist type-V link belts utilize a cross-link design with raw edge cog construction to provide increased durability and performance for daily performance in harsh environments. The cross-links lock tightly when tension is applied to the belt, producing a low elongation with no need for re-tensioning. These belts are customized for various conveying and power transmission applications such as drive transmission, HVAC, mining, and metal manufacturing. They are compatible with all traditional V-belt drive components and systems and can be set to the required length by hand in seconds and rolled onto the drive just like a bicycle chain. Their custom multi-ply composite construction prevents roll-on damage.

Eagle Polyurethane Belting provides belts for a variety of conveying applications. They provide reinforced and non-reinforced belts in round and V profiles, flat belts, and taper edge bands. These belts are available in light, medium, and heavy-duty options for polyester belting, reinforced can cables, co-extruded belting, increased grip, and both FDA and EC-compliant applications for direct food contact. They also provide lines of roller conveying belting, polyurethane V profile and O-rings, and driver pads which are defined by their self-tensioning, identical load capacity, and quick installation.

Trackstar provide ultra-high, molecular weight polyethylene belt and chain guides in a wide range of standard profiles to limit friction and wear resistance. Standard crowned and flat versions are also available for use in guide rail systems. They’re utilized in a range of industries, such as distribution centers, food processing plants, and glass, gypsum, and tile manufacturers. The two-piece design simplifies installation and facilitates future replacement of UHMW inserts, while allowing for thermal expansion. Mounting channels are available in galvanized steel, stainless steel, and anodized aluminum and can be supplied with pre-punched mounting holes for added convenience.

MAV provides a vast range of internal and external locking assemblies, including shrink discs and rigid couplings. They were founded in 1989 and are located in Altopiano della Vigolana (Bosentino) in Northern Italy.

• Rigid Couplings are suited for transmitting torque, axial load, and bending moment, separately or in combination. Applied loads are transmitted via pressure and friction between the fitting surfaces of the shafts. In tightened condition, Rigid Couplings exert high radial pressure on shafts.
• Shrink Discs are external locking devices, which provide a rigid, zero-backlash, frictional keyless connection between an outer hollow shaft (hub) and an inner shaft. Shrink Discs are installed onto the outer diameter of the hub, which is mounted onto the shaft. Shrink Discs are suited for transmitting torque, axial load, and bending moment, separately or in combination. Applied loads are transmitted via pressure and friction between the fitting surfaces of hub and shaft. In tightened condition, Shrink Discs exert high radial pressure on hub and shaft.
• Locking Assemblies provide a rigid, zero-backlash, frictional keyless connection between a shaft and hubs such as gears, pulleys, cams, levers, rotors, and many others. They are suited for transmitting torque, axial load, bending moment, and radial load, separately or in combination. Applied loads are transmitted via pressure and friction across the fitting surfaces between Locking Assembly, shaft and hub bore. In tightened condition, Locking Assemblies exert high radial pressure on shaft and in hub bore.

NuTLink V-belts and SuperTLink Wedge belts are ideal for use in heavy, shock-loaded applications. The NuTLink belts are commonly used in reciprocating engine powered drive and replace classical V-belts up to a C/22 cross section. The SuperTLink are commonly used with multi-belt drive applications and replace wedge belts of SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC, 3V, and 5V cross sections. The belts can be made to length on site by adding or removing links. They are utilized across a range of industries, including HVAC, metal manufacturing, meat processing, Mining, Agriculture and more.
