The Daedal Division of Parker Hannifin’s Automation Group was formed as the second Automation acquisition after Compumotor of Rohnert Park, CA. The Daedal Company of Irwin PA was Compumotor’s largest customer and this was a complimentary vertical integration acquisition in the Market. Parker then acquired Hauser of Offenberg, Germany for it’s high speed belt drive systems popular in the textile and automotive industries. Daedal’s premier product today is the 400XR series of precision linear motion stages. The HD125 Series of high beam strength tables was a brand label relationship with Adept Robotics. The 200RT series worm drive tables provide precise angular position control. Today, the Origa brand rounds out the industries broadest line of linear motion systems with the flagship product being the HMR series High Moment Rodless stages in both belt and screw driven versions.
